Time12 min
Servings4 people
DifficultyEasy

Ingredients

8 slices of country bread
300 g king oyster mushrooms
1 clove of garlic
Extra virgin olive oil
Parsley, salt, pepper

Method

1

Sauté the mushrooms as in the base recipe: thick slices, blazing pan, salt at the end.

2

Toast the bread on a grill or pan until marked but still soft inside.

3

Rub one side of each slice with raw garlic cut in half.

4

Spread the hot mushrooms on the bread and press lightly with the back of a spoon.

5

Raw oil, parsley and pepper. Eat within five minutes.

Tip

Day-old bread is perfect: it holds the topping without getting soggy.

This recipe starts from king oysters picked an hour earlier. The kit grows them on your windowsill.
